This August, Fabrizio Vicari from SEARcularMINE partner ResourSEAs has been sampling super concentrated seawater from Margherita di Savoia (Puglia), the largest saltwork in Italy. 

"We were there at the sunset and wonderfully had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful reflection of the low sun on the crystallization ponds".  

ResourSEAS,  as part of the their H2020 SEArcularMINE activities, are conducting a sampling campaign across Europe to assess the potential to extract critical raw materials from seawater brines left after evaporative sea salt production.
