SEArcularMINE partners gathered in Palermo (Sicily) for their 4th General Assembly and the first in-person meeting since the start of the project in June 2020.  With COVID restrictions in place on the UNIPA campus, fruitful presentations and discussions were hosted over 2 days in the beautiful Botanic Gardens of Palermo.

Highlights of the meeting included a tour of UNIPA laboratories on Day 2 and the Day 3 visit to project partner SOLSALT facilities at Trapani to see and learn about the production of table sea salt.

Many thanks to Università degli studi di Palermo and ResourSEAs srl for organising such a fantastic meeting, and also to SOSALT SPA for sharing with us their knowledge about the sea salt production process.
