Located in Sečovlje Salina Nature Park along the Slovene-Croatian border traditional salt production has survived from the 14th century. Using centuries old processes and working by hand with only traditional tools Soline Pridelava in the Piran saltpans produce natural sea salt using only sea, sun and wind. We’re delighted that Soline Pridelava has agreed to collaborate with SEArcularMINE and provided brine samples to University of Palermo for analysis.
