Giorgio Purpura

Biography: Giorgio Purpura is a dedicated doctoral student at the University of Palermo. He completed his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering followed by a master's degree in process chemical engineering, both at the University of Palermo. His doctoral research focuses on fundamental studies of electro-membrane processes and ionic transport in ion-exchange membranes, crucial for advancing sustainable technologies.

Within the SEArcularMINE project, Giorgio finds great value in collaborating with researchers and scientists from diverse countries and institutions. He believes that SEArcularMINE addresses pressing European challenges by leveraging international partnerships to integrate knowledge and expertise.
