Dominik Traub

Dominik Traub is a dedicated researcher specializing in materials science and engineering. He holds a bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) and a master's degree in Functional Materials from Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg.

Currently, Dominik works at Fraunhofer ISE, where he is actively involved in the SEArcularMINE project as a project partner of the University of Palermo. His expertise and contributions are centered on the construction, design, assembly, and commissioning of a vacuum evaporator for concentrating highly saline solutions. This work is pivotal in advancing the project's goals of developing sustainable and efficient methods for processing and recovering valuable materials from brine solutions.

Dominik's role in the SEArcularMINE project highlights the importance of collaboration between institutions to tackle environmental challenges and promote innovative solutions for resource recovery and circular economy practices.
